Nathan 10 (2016)
Skaap Nathan 10 (2016)
Nathan 2016 is a blend of Merlot (34%), Cabernet Sauvignon (33%) and Cabernet Franc (33%), sourced from dry vineyards in the Durbanville region.
The wine was left on the skin for about three weeks after fermentation. After blending the wine was then transferred to French oak barrels. The wine matured in barrel for 15 months before bottling and left in bottle to mature for a further 6 months before release.
Made by award winning South African winemaker Riaan Oosthuizen.…..
Dark chocolate fruit and clove spice on the nose with plum and dried fruit (peaches) flavors invites one to this well structured wine with firm yet soft tannins.
When to drink
Drink now, but if you can better wait a few years and it will keep well over the next 10 years plus.
Will compliment any meat dish.
